As the Founder & CEO of Beyond Your Office, I have the pleasure to work with and support a number of entrepreneurs, small business owners, coaches, Health care practitioners, and those working in the non-profit sector, with the help of a growing team of virtual support professionals. What I love most about what I do is that we are working daily to help other small business owners to achieve their dreams. Knowing that I or a member of my team played a part in their success along the way brings us great satisfaction and pride. Volunteering and working in the nonprofit sector have had a huge impact on me both personally and professionally. The passion to help serve and support others (especially female entrepreneurs & small business owners) is the reason why Beyond Your Office was started in 2014.
Melissa is very detail-oriented, tech-savvy, attentive, and a quick learner. She provides an easy-going, proactive, and positive approach to her work. As a Tech Virtual Assistant, Melissa works in digital product and website platforms, such as Kajabi, Flodesk, Teachable, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, Squarespace, WordPress, and more; as well as project management programs including ClickUp, Asana, and Trello. She has experience in digital product delivery, including course launch tech set-up and marketing funnels/automations; website creation/maintenance; project management; CRM management; office administration, and more! In her spare time, she is balancing family life as a wife and mother to four young children; who she loves spending time together at their rural family home.
Serina is a Virtual Assistant with a wide range of knowledge and experience in helping businesses grow and succeed. She prides herself on the personal relationships she forges with her clients and the team approach they take together towards success. Serina has a background in healthcare and small business development and management with experience in a multitude of platforms and areas of skillset including Jane, QuickBooks, multiple CRM software, ActiveCampaign, ClickUp, Mailchimp, Kajabi, Hootsuite, Canva, social media, correspondence management, travel and event planning, transcription, eCommerce, and more. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and puppies and planning trips and events with their friends.
Jeffrey is an Ottawa web designer and internet consultant, designing on the powerful WordPress and Headway Themes platform. He has been in business for 10+ years working with clients to build stunning websites that are functional and well designed. He LOVES what he does – and loves doing it for great people who love what they do! Kimberley's go to Guru for help on website & WordPress issues!
Kristin is a public health and fundraising professional with expertise in fund development, communications and stewardship, event coordination, and non-profit support. She also has experience with maintaining websites and social media, MailChimp, and a variety of CRM platforms.
